Our surgeons Professor Eng Ooi and Dr Lauren Cooper are conducting a multi-institutional clinical trial of a novel steroid cream (BDMP) on patients with chronic sinusitis after endoscopic sinus surgery to see if will improve their sinusitis symptoms. Difficulty swallowing (dysphagia) could be due to an ENT problem

A/Professor Eng Ooi's research group at Flinders has recently published an article explaining how Pharyngeal high-resolution manometry with impedance (P-HRM-I) is an emerging, ambulatory swallow assessment for patients with pharyngeal dysphagia (throat swallowing difficulties).
